COMPOSITION:
It is a white, yellowish antibacterial solution powder containing 800 mg amoxicillin trihydrate (equivalent to approximately 700 mg amoxicillin) per g.
AREA OF USE:
Amoxicillin is used in the treatment of systemic and local infections caused by gram positive and gram negative bacteria that fall into the spectrum of broiler chickens.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
10-20 mg/kg C.A. day.
It is used orally by adding to the drinking water of broiler chickens. Unless otherwise recommended by the veterinarian;
Pharmacological dose: 10-20 mg/kg C.A. day in broiler chickens.
Practically, 1-2 grams of powder is added to the drinking water for every 80 kg of live weight per day.
The application is continued for 3-5 days. Medicated water is consumed within 2-3 hours. Unused medicated water should be changed after 12 hours.
WARNINGS FOR DRUG RESIDUES IN FOOD (I.K.A.S.):
Drug residue withdrawal period (i.k.a.s); 1 day for chickens raised for meat, not applied to chickens and turkeys from which eggs are obtained for human consumption.
