KARDIOVET ® Injection Solution COMPOSITION
KARDIOVET injection solution is a light yellow, clean, clear solution, and contains 250 mg Niketamide (Pridon B - Carboxylic acid diethylamide) in each ml.
AREA OF USE/INDICATIONS
It is used as a respiratory and CNS stimulant in horses, foals, dogs and cats; Respiratory and circulatory disorders, Shortness of breath, Chronic bronchitis, Pneumonia, Emphysema, Poisoning, Asphyxia, Feverish diseases and general conditions and respiratory disorders that occur in surgical interventions or traumas.
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
Unless otherwise recommended by the veterinarian;
Pharmacological dose; 12.5 - 25 mg/kg live weight in horses, 20-40 mg/kg live weight in cats and dogs, applied in the following practical doses.
Horse
5 - 10 ml / 100 kg live weight
Foal
2.5 - 5 ml / 50 kg live weight
Dog and cat
0.5 - 1 ml / 5 kg live weight
Kardiovet solution for injection is administered subcutaneously, primarily intramuscularly, and slowly intravenously by adjusting half dose. In case of emergency, intravenous administration should be injected slowly and at half dose.
GENERAL WARNINGS
Consult a veterinarian before use and in case of an unexpected effect. Keep out of reach of children.
STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE
If stored at 15-30 oC, protected from light, the shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacture.
COMMERCIAL PRESENTATION
It is offered to the market in 50 ml amber Type I glass vials closed with a white flip-off cap and red rubber stopper in a cardboard box.
