COMPOSITION:

It is a clear light yellow antibiotic solution containing 300 mg florfenicol per ml.

USE AREA:

It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract diseases, sacculitis and colisepticemia caused by E. coli in broiler chickens.

USE AND DOSAGE:

Florfenicol is used in broiler chickens by adding it to drinking water at a dose of 20 mg/kg C.A. per day for 3-5 days. The practical dose is 100 ml Floral 30% Oral Solution for every 1500 kg C.A. depending on water consumption. Medicated water should be prepared fresh every day.

WARNINGS FOR DRUG RESIDUES IN FOOD:

Drug residue purification period (i.k.a.s); Broiler chickens should not be sent to slaughter during the treatment period and within 5 days after the last drug application. It should not be used in chickens whose eggs are consumed as human food.
