COMPOSITION:

1 gram of yellowish powder contains oxytetracycline HCL equivalent to 800 mg oxytetracycline base.

AREA OF USE:

It is used in the treatment of the following infections caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive bacteria in chickens, turkeys and calves whose rumen activities have not started. In chickens and turkeys: Chronic respiratory system disease (CRD), omithosis, infectious synovitis and chicken cholera In calves: It is used in Colibacillosis, Colisepticemia, Chlamydiasis, Pasteurellosis, other respiratory and digestive system infections.

USAGE AND DOSAGE:

Unless otherwise recommended by the veterinarian;

The pharmacological dose in chickens and turkeys is 20 mg/kg live weight/day. Practically, 250 grams of TERRACID 90% Oral Solution Powder is used by mixing it into the drinking water of the animals for every 10,000 kg live weight. Before administering the drug, animals should be left without water for 2-3 hours. Medicated water should be prepared fresh every day and treatment should be continued for 3-5 days.

The pharmacological dose for calves is 10 mg/kg live weight/day. Practically, 0.6 grams of TERRACID 90% Oral Solution Powder is used by mixing it with the drinking water of the animals for every 50 kg live weight (it should not be mixed with milk). Treatment should be continued for 3-5 days.

WARNINGS FOR DRUG RESIDUES IN FOOD:

During the treatment period and after the last drug application, calves, chickens and turkeys raised for meat should not be sent to slaughter before 7 days have passed. The residue clearance period for eggs is 0 (zero) days.
